The PAPERSHOW Digital Pen Starter Kit from Canson is an innovative digital pen system that allows you to make annotations on a computer screen using a digital ink pen for input. Simply write on the included digital paper with the included pen and your writing will show up on your computer screen.
The PAPERSHOW system uses Bluetooth to communicate with your computer from distances of up to 25 feet (8 meters) away. It includes a USB adapter which is paired with the pen. Even if your computer has Bluetooth built-in, you'll want to use this adapter as it also houses an embedded version of the PAPERSHOW software. This allows you to use the device with any computer - without having to worry about whether or not software is installed. The software, which is compatible with Mac and Windows-based computer systems, can be used to display your current note sessions and manage annotated documents that are stored on the USB adapter. It can import PowerPoint, Keynote, and image files to convert to the PAPERSHOW format. It automatically manages the preparation and printing of your documents on the interactive PAPERSHOW sheets. Everything is saved to the USB adapter, so there is no need to worry about accidentally leaving behind a confidential document on a shared computer. The software also allows you to share notes via e-mail. The kit includes the digital pen, a USB Bluetooth adapter, an A4 notepad, 30 sheets of printer paper, a binder, and a carrying case.
